similar storyline to mine!

Co-incidentally my final paper for the class hinges on how ambitions and personality-types of women create obstacles for them to engage in a relationship. Although my story is based in Harvard Business School, it reflects the same attitude of "men like girly girls and not alpha females"

  1. Smita, this was a very compelling piece, and because of the material presented (a little depressing maybe), I thought starting with the Sex and the City scenario was good. Funny thing about that though: Samantha was probably the highest earner of the quartet. On the other hand, she also was portrayed as, um, the most open-minded? She seemed good at hiding her Type A in a lot of situations. I bring this up because most of us have to shift personalities from work to home. For instance, my late father was incredibly intelligent and able to figure out really complex problems. But he wasn't like that at home; he acted like a regular guy. Let me tell you though, his "smart side" was very appreciated when I didn't understand Beowulf!
I would be interested to read your piece -- good topic.
